June and July saw a lot more progress in the kitchen, from installing the cabinetry, painting the inside of the chimney green, getting the worktops on, oiling and installing the shelving, building a base for the fridge/freezer, and rather excitedly, getting the sink and taps in!

And, for the first time in almost five years, we now have a working oven!! Having survived on an air fryer (and most recently just a slow cooker) it has been life-changing having an oven, I’m not even kidding. And the first thing we cooked? Frozen pizzas!
