Lots of progress was made in the third bedroom this month.

We added in some studwork and insulated the room before starting on adding the plasterboards to the walls too. We are getting so close to decorating!

This room is at the back of the house; it’s quieter and so cosy with the windows giving the best views of the trees outside. It’ll be Arthur’s new bedroom so I’m trying to figure out how to decorate it…

What else happened this month? We commissioned a structural surveyor in June to start calculating what support we’d need if we were to remove the wall between the kitchen and dining room. We now have the calculations and a better understanding of the size of beam we’d need to install. It’ll be an expensive job when we come to it, and messy, but exciting nonetheless.
