October, October, October. Can you believe it’s been and gone?

I think I begin every monthly update this way but honestly where is the year going?

This month the focus was on the living room. My Dad skimmed the whole room before we started adding the panelling on the back wall.

We also decided at this point to block in the little alcove that was there, as a reminder it looked like this:

My dad also fitted some of our new doors and Arthur tried to help!

The next tasks for this room are:

• Get the hearth cut and installed
• Put plywood down and install the flooring
• Paint!
• Get the architraves and skirting boards on
