Well, with Arthur’s birth in January I’ve neglected this space a little but we’re back and spending any spare time we have renovating the house.
This month, we finished decorating Arthur’s room and are just waiting for his furniture to arrive in early June. I am over the moon with how this room turned out and it’s made me so excited to crack on with the rest of the house. I’m going to do a full in depth post of everything we did in this room to get it to where it is now.

We’ve also been cracking on with the garden which needs a lot of TLC. I can’t count the amount of trips we’ve made to the skip emptying rubble bag after rubble bag. The good news is that the ivy is pretty much gone thanks to a very productive bank holiday weekend (when we moved in the garden was overrun with it) and we’re almost ready to put up our new fence which will be our job come summer.

In other parts of the house we’ve just started taking the plaster off the wall in the sitting room. This will be our dark, moody and ‘adult’ space so isn’t a priority right now but, when it’s raining and we have a few hours spare, this is the room we’re focused on getting ready for decoration. It, like every other room in the house, needs an awful lot of work done to it!
