This month we made progress on the main bedroom, putting the dividing wall up and insulating the dormer window (I say ‘we’ but it was all my dad and David).

The plan is to get this bedroom done before Christmas and move all our belongings up into there, freeing up the room we’re currently using as a temp bedroom.

We’re almost there, we need a new radiator, the wall and ceiling skimming, the electrics sorting and the skirting boards fitted but it shouldn’t take too long to get it ready for decorating (I am so excited to start painting).

We also had some damage on the render of our house from where the old windows had been so we repaired this and we repainted the whole lot (David painted the render while I painted the sidegate — amazingly the paint I bought for the garden fence is an almost identical match to our front door.)
